Make this traditional Passover recipe a day or two ahead of your Seder. The flavors will only get better hanging out together in the fridge. Note that you’ll have some excess wine at the bottom of your bowl which will help keep the apples nice and juicy.

Ingredients
Apple
4 medium, 2 Granny Smith & 2 Honeycrisp, peeled, cored, chopped
Manischewitz Concord Grape Wine
8 fl oz, or other sweet dessert wine
Dried dates
1 cup(s), pitted, chopped
Chopped walnuts (unsalted, raw or dry roasted, no sugar added)
1 cup(s)
Fresh lemon juice
1½ tsp
Honey
1 Tbsp
Ground cinnamon
1 tsp
Instructions
1
In a large, nonreactive bowl, combine the apples, wine, dates, walnuts, lemon juice, honey, and cinnamon. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour, up to 2 to 3 days.
