You'll never reach for the store-bought salad dressing ever again. This mustard vinaigrette recipe is light and lemony, and extremely versatile too: Add fresh chopped herbs, garlic, tomatoes, or spicy mustard depending on your mood. It'll go great on any salad, from hearty greens like romaine to more softer lettuces like Bibb. You can even use it on roast chicken or your favorite potato salad.

Ingredients

Water

¼ cup(s)

Fresh lemon juice

4 tsp

White wine vinegar

2 tsp

Dijon mustard

2 tsp, whole-grain preferred

Honey

1 tsp

Sea salt

½ tsp

Black pepper

¼ tsp, freshly ground

Olive oil

¼ cup(s)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine water, lemon juice, vinegar, mustard, honey, salt and pepper. Slowly pour in oil, whisking the dressing at the same time. Yields about 1 tablespoon per serving.
