This three-minute mochaccino is a fast way to give you a cold, sweet coffee drink with a hit of chocolate. You can add in a little pure vanilla extract to the coffee mixture, too. While we opted for latte-flavored ice cream to really amp up the coffee flavor, you could also use French vanilla ice cream, if you like. The goal is to yield approximately three cups of this coffee beverage after blending for the best flavor and consistency. You may need to add in more ice. Different shapes of ice (cubes, half-circles, rounds, and crushed) may give different yields.

Ingredients

Black coffee

1 cup(s), brewed and chilled

Ice cream

1 cup(s), low-fat, latte-flavored (such as Starbucks)

Chocolate syrup

¼ cup(s)

Ice cube

3 cup(s), crushed

Instructions

  1. Combine first three ingredients in a blender. Add enough ice to equal 4 cups; process until smooth. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 3⁄4 cup).
