Blackberries, chocolate, and mint combine make this deeply colored and deliciously flavored sauce, great to have around for many uses. Try serving drizzled over waffles, or make a sundae with ice cream, frozen yogurt, or “nice” cream. However you decide to put this lovely sauce to use, garnish with some fresh blackberries and a few small fresh mint leaves to complement the flavors and add a little visual beauty to the plate.

2 Tbsp
Fresh mint leaves
8 leaf/leaves, left whole (plus extra for garnish)
Instructions
1
In medium saucepan, cook blackberries, 1/2 cup water, sugar, cocoa powder, and mint over medium heat, stirring often, until berries break down, about 4 minutes.
