Mini deep-dish pepperoni pizzas
Frozen pizza crust dough
1 pound(s), defrosted (or refrigerated dough)
Store-bought pizza sauce
Shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
18 Tbsp, (1 cup plus 2 tbsp)
Small, thinly sliced turkey pepperoni
24 piece(s), chopped
Crushed red pepper flakes
1 pinch, optional
1 Tbsp, optional
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Coat 12-cup muffin pan with nonstick spray. Divide pizza dough into 12 equal pieces and press into bottom and up sides of each cup in pan.
- Place 1 tbsp sauce, 11⁄2 tbsp cheese, and 1 tbsp pepperoni in each dough-lined muffin cup.
- Bake pizzas until crust is browned, about 15 minutes. Let cool for 3 to 4 minutes in pan before removing. Garnish with red pepper flakes and basil leaves (if using).
