This amped-up flavored mayonnaise is a versatile, easy recipe to have in your arsenal as it enhances a wide variety of entrées and side dishes. Serve this deeply garlicky mayonnaise over roasted vegetables, grilled chicken, or seafood. It’s also terrific as a dressing for sliced tomatoes, salads, or sweet potato fries. The tangy buttermilk helps thin the mixture, making it more pourable and dippable, but you can use more to thin it to whatever consistency that you like. You will need half of a lemon to yield the zest and juice needed for this recipe. Feel free to stir in some chopped fresh or dried herbs, such as rosemary, basil, or oregano, into the aioli.


Ingredients
1% low fat buttermilk
5 Tbsp
Reduced calorie mayonnaise
3 Tbsp
Garlic
1 clove(s), minced
Lemon zest
½ tsp, finely grated
Fresh lemon juice
1 tsp
Table salt
¼ tsp
Black pepper
⅛ tsp, freshly ground
Instructions

Whisk together all ingredients in small bowl. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to let flavors blend. Will keep refrigerated for 2 days.
