High-Protein Cottage Cheese Cannoli

A cannoli goes from 15 Points to just 7 Points and a bump of 6 grams of protein when you keep the crunchy pastry shell but replace the ricotta filling with a cottage cheese and yogurt one. Che bella!

Ingredients

1% low fat cottage cheese

½ cup(s)

Plain fat free Greek yogurt

½ cup(s)

Vanilla extract

2 tsp

Zero Calorie Sweetener

2 Tbsp

Ground cinnamon

¼ tsp

Sugar-free chocolate chips

1 Tbsp

Cannoli shell (regular size)

2 shell(s)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, stir together the cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, vanilla, and sweetener. Blend or puree until smooth.

Transfer mixture to a piping bag or resealable plastic bag. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Snip a corner off of the bag and pipe mixture into the cannoli shells. Garnish with the chocolate chips. Sprinkle the cinnamon all over.
