This tart herb-infused drink is wonderfully refreshing at any time but particularly on the long, hot days of summer. This recipe easily doubles or triples if you’re serving a crowd. If you aren’t a fan of cilantro, just use more mint and basil or substitute fresh dill. Letting the herbs steep in the water means a stronger fresh herbal flavor in every sip. If you’d like some fizz, use cold mineral water in place of the cold water. Adjust the sweetener to your taste preferences and serve over lots of ice. The fresh herbs and lime wedges are a pretty finish.
