This simple yet luscious dip is ideal for everyday snacking.It also makes a delicious sandwich spread.

Ingredients

Canned white beans

15½ oz

Garlic

2 clove(s), chopped

Olive oil

1 Tbsp, extra virgin

Ground cumin

¾ tsp

Table salt

½ tsp

Black pepper

½ tsp

Instructions

  1. Process the beans, garlic, oil, cumin, salt, and pepper in a food processor until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a medium bowl and refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve.

Notes

Along with plenty of crunchy, no–POINTS value veggies like celery sticks, bell pepper strips, steamed broccoli or cauliflower florets, and Belgian endive leaves. It also makes a delicious sandwich spread for whole-wheat pita breads. The dip keeps in the refrigerator for up to three days.
