Fennel lends a subtly sweet taste of licorice to our refreshing fall fruit salad. It's a sweet-meets-savory preparation that packs plenty of crunch. Fennel and orange are natural culinary companions - a flavor combination that is popular all across the Mediterranean. Adding apple and red onion gives the salad extra kick and color, and cinnamon ties it all up, for a festive side that offers a unique flavor and texture to your meal. Great alongside roasted meats or poultry, the salad is also a pretty, and refreshingly fresh, addition to the Thanksgiving table.
