We recommend keeping frozen cleaned shrimp on hand; it’s quick to thaw and cook, and it’s incredibly versatile and ideal for meal prep. Here it’s simply seasoned so that it will pair well with a multitude of dishes. Add it to salads, tortilla wraps, pasta-veggie tosses, or rice or grain bowls.

Ingredients

Cooking spray

4 spray(s)

Uncooked shrimp

1 pound(s), large, peeled and deveined

Olive oil

1 Tbsp

Garlic powder

1 tsp

Black pepper

¾ tsp, coarsely ground

Kosher salt

¼ tsp

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, oil, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt, tossing well to coat. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high. Add the shrimp mixture to the pan; sauté until just cooked through, turning occasionally, 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Serving size: about 3 1/2 oz
