Yes, this is a far cry from a true Cuban sandwich, which is made on a roll, flattened and cooked in a sandwich press, and served warm.

Ingredients

Fat free mayonnaise

4 tsp

Flour tortilla

4 tortilla(s), medium, (8-inch) each

Extra-lean ham (5% fat)

¼ pound(s), very thinly sliced

Swiss cheese

¼ pound(s), very thinly sliced

Low-sodium dill pickles

2 medium, with garlic, cut lengthwise into very thin slices

Romaine lettuce

2 cup(s), shredded, shredded

Instructions

  1. Spread 1 teaspoon of the mayonnaise on one side of each tortilla. Top with one-fourth each of the ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and lettuce. Roll up each tortilla and wrap separately in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until ready to serve or up to 1 day. Yields 1 wrap per serving.
