If you like roasted Brussels sprouts, you are certain to love air-fried ones. The handy appliance cooks the veggies in just 15 minutes (or less), and many models don’t need to preheat, which saves lots of time over oven cooking. It also gives the sprouts fantastically crispy edges without the need for much oil. This recipe keeps things nice and simple so the flavor of the sprouts is front and center, with just salt and pepper for seasoning and an optional finishing touch of lemon zest.

Ingredients
Brussels sprouts
1 pound(s), trimmed and halved
Olive oil
1 Tbsp
Kosher salt
½ tsp
Black pepper
¼ tsp
Lemon zest
1 tsp, optional
Instructions
1
Preheat air fryer, if needed, to 375°F. Combine Brussels sprouts, oil, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl and toss well to coat. Add sprouts to the basket of an air fryer and cook at 375°F until crisp-tender, about 15 minutes, pausing to shake and toss sprouts after 8 minutes. Sprinkle with lemon zest, if desired.
