If you grew up anywhere in the South, you probably know a thing or two about breading and frying okra. If you have an air fryer, you can skip all the bread and oil and still get that super-crispy snack you love. Once the okra are fried, dip them in a little creamy Comeback Sauce, an addictive sauce that originated in a Greek diner in Jackson, Mississipi (you can find a recipe for the sauce on WW.com).

Ingredients

Uncooked okra

1 pound(s), tops trimmed, quartered lengthwise

Comeback sauce

¼ cup(s), search for the recipe in the WW app

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Add okra to air-fryer basket and cook until okra are nicely crispy and charred in spots, 8 to 10 minutes. Serve with Comeback Sauce for dipping.
  2. Serving size: 1 cup fries and 1 tbsp dipping sauce
