Break out of the classic broccoli salad mold by giving this updated twist a try. We’ve kept the dish’s signature components like smoky bacon, sweet raisins, and mayo-based dressing. But we’ve incorporated some cauliflower and chopped red pepper for a pop of vibrant color and used fresh citrus juice and zest to impart bright, refreshing flavor. Grate the orange and lemon rinds; then, cut the fruits in half and squeeze out the juice. Make in advance and chill at least 4 hours before serving to allow all the flavors to properly marry. Leftovers will hold well in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
