Cutting the oranges into rounds instead of sections and arranging them on a platter with the kiwi and grapes elevates this salad’s appearance to entertaining status. Perfect for a brunch or lunch gathering, you could easily double or triple it depending the crowd’s size. We’ve used fresh basil, but fresh mint would also be great here. Mix it up and use an assortment of oranges to include Cara Cara and Blood Oranges. Or you could change the fruit completely based on what you have on hand. Sliced pink grapefruit or tangerines can stand in for the oranges, and instead of the grapes, use fresh berries or pitted fresh cherries.

Ingredients

Orange

3 large, navel variety, peeled and sliced into thick rounds

Kiwifruit

2 medium, peeled and sliced

Grapes

Fresh basil

¼ cup(s), thinly sliced, or mint leaves
