Pureed silken tofu helps transform chocolate mousse into a super creamy, lower fat dessert. Make these for your next party—they can be prepped and refrigerated a day in advance.

Ingredients

Silken tofu

10½ oz, drained and roughly chopped

Banana

2 large, roughly chopped

Unsweetened dark cocoa powder

2 Tbsp

Maple syrup

1 Tbsp

Vanilla extract

1 tsp

Mixed berries

Instructions

  1. Pat the tofu dry with paper towels or a clean kitchen towel to remove excess liquid. Place the tofu, bananas, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a food processor and process until smooth.
  2. Divide mousse mixture evenly among 4 small dessert bowls or glasses. Refrigerate until chilled and thickened, a minimum of 1 hour. Serve topped with berries.
  3. Serving size: 1 mousse
