A wonderful way to dress up your greens. Look for powdered buttermilk in your super market’s baking aisle. It is a cooking godsend: you don't have to buy a whole carton of fresh buttermilk for the few tablespoonfuls you need in a recipe. This tangy, creamy dressing is divine drizzled over a plate of sliced ripe tomatoes, tossed with diced cucumbers, or served as a dip for cut veggies. Add some chopped fresh herbs like dill, tarragon, and parsley to the mix to give it a green goddess flair. This is a good basic dressing to enjoy as it is, or to build upon.
