This Asian-inspired citrus sauce really perks up broccoli. Serve this savory veggie side dish with steamed jasmine rice and five-spice pork tenderloin or soy-glazed fish fillets to make it a meal. Once you've mastered this sauce, you can apply it to almost any vegetable no matter the season. It works beautifully with asparagus in spring, green beans in summer, Brussels sprouts in fall, and carrots or cauliflower in winter. Tweak the flavor profile by swapping lime or lemon zest for the orange zest here. If you like things spicy, add a pinch or two of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
Ingredients
Unsweetened orange juice
¾ cup(s)
Honey
1 Tbsp
Fresh ginger
1½ tsp, grated and peeled
Cornstarch

Sesame oil
1 tsp
Sesame seeds
2 tsp, toasted
Broccoli
1 pound(s), florets, steamed
