An enduring favorite flavor combo in potato chips and dips finds its way into a crusty loaf with a tender and flavorful crumb. Using whole-wheat flour in this delicious mix kicks up the fiber and vitamin-B content. Up the onion flavor by adding chopped fresh chives when you add the soup mix. For a yogurt-dill bread, substitute yogurt for the sour cream and 1/4 cup fresh chopped dill for the onion soup. This bread is delicious sliced, toasted, and spread with reduced-fat cream cheese and topped with smoked salmon and capers.
