Margarita is the Spanish word for daisy, but it is also a class of cocktails that melds a spirit with citrus juice and liqueur. A classic south-of-the-border margarita features tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur. Here, a medley of orange juice and orange zest takes the place of the liqueur while juice, ripe watermelon gets added to the mix. The result is oh-so-refreshing. For the best quality, look for tequila that is labeled 100% agave so you know what you're getting. This is especially importatnt if you are gluten-free. To make this a cocktail, simply replace the tequila with an equal amount of water. You could also swap the still water for plain seltzer or club soda for a bubbly take on this classic tipple.
