This is one of Coach Cassidy’s go-to recipes that absolutely everyone asks for! It’s quick, simple, and keeps her full all morning long. Make sure to get quick cooking oats or the recipe will not work as written. Garnish with optional chopped walnuts, sliced bananas, additional cinnamon, or a drizzle of honey.

Quick cooking rolled oats

½ cup(s)

Banana(s)

1 small, very ripe, mashed

Light agave nectar

1 tsp

Vanilla extract

1 tsp

Ground cinnamon

¾ tsp

Ground nutmeg

¼ tsp

Sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a small pot over medium-high heat, bring water to a simmer. Add oats, banana, agave, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until water has absorbed and oats are tender, about 5 minutes.
  2. Serving size: 1 bowl (about ¾ cup)
