Fresh lemon juice
½ tsp
Ground cinnamon
¾ tsp
Ground allspice
¼ tsp
Ground ginger
¼ tsp
Ground nutmeg
¼ tsp
Table salt

Wonton wrappers

Coconut oil
3 tsp, melted
Powdered sugar (confectioner's)
1 Tbsp
Ground cinnamon
½ tsp
Instructions
1
To a medium-sized skillet, add 1 tsp coconut oil and cook over medium heat.
2
Add apples through maple syrup. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
3
While apples cook, grab a small bowl and mix together cornstarch and 2 tbsp water.
4
Add cornstarch mixture to apples and cook for 2 more minutes or until the water has been absorbed. Remove from heat and let cool to room temp.
5
Once the mixture has cooled, add the lemon zest.
6
Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Use water to wet the side that is facing up. Add 1 tbsp of the apple mixture to one side of the wonton. Fold the corner over and press to seal (the wontons should be the shape of a triangle). Wet your fingertips and press down on the edges to make sure the wonton is fully sealed. Lightly brush both sides with melted coconut oil. Repeat until all of the apple mixture is gone.
7
Preheat air fryer to 370°F.
8
Place the wontons in a single layer on a meshed air fryer cooking basket and cook for 6 minutes.
9
While fritters cook, mix together powdered sugar and cinnamon. Dust cooked fritters with powdered sugar mixture and serve warm.
