Dips and dunks

One basic dip – three tasty variations!
  • Medium fat soft cheese
    300 g
  • Fat Free Natural Yogurt
    300 g
  • Spring Onions
    4 medium, very finely choppedCurried red pepper and coriander dip:
  • Cucumber
    ¼ portion(s), medium, finely chopped
  • Red pepper(s)
    ½ medium, deseeded and finely chopped
  • Curry Powder
    1 teaspoons
  • Coriander, fresh
    2 tablespoons, Garlic and chive dip:
  • Garlic
    1 clove(s), crushed
  • Chives, Fresh
    2 tablespoons, Spicy tomato dip:
  • Tomato Purèe
    2 tablespoons, level
  • Tomato
    1 medium, finely chopped
  • Celery, cooked
    1 stick(s), finely chopped
  • Chilli Powder
    ½ teaspoons, level
  • Pickled Gherkins, drained
    1 medium, 3 finely chopped slices To serve:Fresh vegetable crudités
  1. Make the basic dip by beating together the low fat soft cheese and yogurt. Add the spring onions and season with a little black pepper. Share the mixture between three bowls.
  2. For the curried dip, add the cucumber, pepper, curry powder and coriander to one bowl and mix thoroughly.
  3. For the garlic and chive dip, add the garlic and chives to the second bowl and mix together.
  4. For the spicy tomato dip, add the tomato puree, tomatoes, celery, chilli powder and gherkins to the third bowl and stir together.
  5. Serve with fresh vegetable crudités (carrot, peppers, cucumber, etc).
