Did someone say pizza? These little cheesy bites with turkey pepperoni and marinara are so good, you (almost) won't miss the dough! Made with zucchini as a base, this recipe is perfect as an appetizer, afternoon snack, or whenever you're in the mood for something cheesy and warm. Whip them up in 15 minutes or less and get a quick pizza fix!


Ingredients
Uncooked zucchini
1 small
Cooking spray
2 spray(s)
Garlic salt
0.125 tsp
Marinara sauce
0.25 cup(s)
Shredded part skim mozzarella cheese
0.25 cup(s)
Turkey pepperoni
10 piece(s)
Crushed red pepper flakes
1 pinch(es)
Instructions

Preheat broiler; place a wire rack on a baking sheet (line with aluminum foil if desired).

Coat both sides of zucchini with cooking spray; place on rack and season with garlic salt. Broil zucchini until fork tender, 5 minutes.

Top each zucchini round with 1 tsp sauce and 1 tsp cheese; sprinkle evenly with pepperoni. Return to broiler until bubbly, 1-2 minutes; garnish with red pepper flakes.
