We used canned chili here for convenience but you can use homemade chili (or a few leftover spoonfuls of takeout chili!), if you prefer. Just make sure to use a slotted spoon to transfer the chili to the avocado or else it could be too watery. If you remove the avocado seed and the indentation in your avocado half is on the small side, eat a spoonful of the avocado flesh to create a bigger opening.
