Don’t toss that leftover coffee, or that over-ripe banana! Freeze the coffee in an ice cube tray, and freeze the peeled sliced banana in a small zip-close plastic bag. You can blend them up directly from the freezer.

Ingredients

Black coffee

1 cup(s), chilled

Fat free skim milk

½ cup(s)

Unsweetened cocoa powder

2 Tbsp

Dried dates

5 medium, pitted

Banana

1 medium, ripe

Ice cube

½ cup(s)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Divide between 2 glasses.
  2. Serving size: 1 cup
