Instead of ordering takeout, try our lightened take on the traditional gyro sandwich. This recipe for a quick beef gyro combines the ease of takeout with the health benefits of cooking at home! While the classic gyro meat is a combination of beef and lamb, we swapped in deli roast beef. By slightly frying it on the stove top, you'll recreate the similar crisp texture. Instead of using pita bread, we've decided to go with whole-wheat tortillas to get the hearty flavor we all know and love.
