This recipe strikes that perfect balance of sweet and savory by incorporating sugar, honey, ground cinnamon, oats, and chopped walnuts, plus your favorite dried fruit. These bars will fuel you up before a long day of work or school, and you can make enough in one pan that will last you all week. Pair one or two of these crunchy, chewy bites with nonfat yogurt or a piece of fruit and you've got a great breakfast on the run.

Reduced-calorie margarine

cup(s), soft

Sugar

cup(s)

Honey

¼ cup(s)

Uncooked quick oats

1 cup(s)

Uncooked old fashioned rolled oats

1¾ cup(s), coarsely crushed

Chopped walnuts
