With popcorn, dried mixed fruit, and roasted peanuts, this snack is the perfect mix of salty, sweet, and crunchy—it’s satisfying for a variety of cravings. Avoid using butter-flavored popcorn in this recipe, which is higher in fat and calories than plain popcorn. If you are popping the corn yourself, you will need about 1⁄3 cup of unpopped kernels to yield 6 cups popped. Use any combination of dried fruits that you like, such as dried cranberries, cherries, raisins, pineapple, or apricots. The curry powder, ground ginger, and cayenne pepper are combined with oil so it coats the ingredients well.
