This sauce does it all: use it as a dip, marinade or basting sauce for raw or grilled vegetables, fish, seafood, poultry, beef or pork. Ginger, soy sauce, mirin, rice wine vinegar, honey and scallions combine to make an incredibly sweet and tangy sauce. If you have any leftover ginger from this recipe, you can freeze it in a zip-top freezer bag for up to three months. Ginger is a healthy way to add big flavor to dishes without additional calories so just grate it from its frozen state whenever you need to add it to a dish. Be sure to label the date on it so that you'll remember how long you've had it.
