A spicy spin on a Thanksgiving classic. Adjust the heat by leaving in some – or all – of the jalapeno seeds.


Ingredients
Fresh cranberries
1½ pound(s), washed and picked through
Jalapeño pepper
4 medium, seeded, deveined and finely chopped
Red wine
2⅔ fl oz, any variety (about 1/3 cup)
Packed brown sugar
¾ cup(s), dark variety
Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a non-reactive pot; bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute and then reduce heat to low; simmer for 10 minutes or until desired consistency. Cool and serve.
