Give plain cranberry sauce a rest this year and try our slightly sweet-slightly tart version instead. It's chock-full of apricots with a hint of orange.

Ingredients

Fresh cranberries

12 oz, or frozen

Dried apricot halves

½ cup(s), chopped or thinly sliced

Unsweetened applesauce

½ cup(s)

Water

½ cup(s)

Spreadable fruit

¼ cup(s), orange-flavor

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium pot. Cook over medium-high heat until cranberries have popped, about 10 minutes. Allow to cool and serve at room temperature.
