Ingredients

Coconut oil spray

4 second spray(s)

Granny Smith apple

8 medium

Werther's Original Soft Caramels

35 piece(s)

Heavy cream

4 Tbsp

Instructions

  1. Start by washing, drying and removing the stems from your green apples.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper, lightly spray with coconut oil and set aside.
  3. Insert a caramel apple stick into the core of each apple.
  4. Get your caramels and heavy cream into a microwave safe bowl and heat in the microwave for approx. 2-3 minutes, stirring after every 30 seconds. (Tip: if your caramel gets too thin/runny, let it cool slightly before dipping your apples into the mixture. If its too thick, and you can’t dip your apples evenly, microwave for another 30 seconds).
  5. Dip your apples into the caramel mix, covering entirely, letting the excess drip back into the bowl and place on your prepared baking sheet.
  6. Get your covered apples in the fridge for at least 20 minutes before enjoying!
  7. Serving size: 1 apple

Notes

If you caramel mix begins to settle, just pop it back in the microwave to melt a bit more!
