There’s no need for fancy lump crab meat in this recipe since you’re mixing the crab into the other ingredients and then pressing it into cakes.

Ingredients

cooked crabmeat

8 oz

egg white(s)

2 item(s)

dry potato flakes

2 Tbsp

dried parsley

1 Tbsp

chives

1 Tbsp, fried

Cajun seasoning

1 tsp, salt-free

cooking spray

1 spray(s)

Instructions

  1. Stir the crab meat, egg whites, potato flakes, parsley, chives, and Cajun seasoning in a medium bowl until uniform. Form into 4 patties (about 1/3 cup each).
  2. Lightly coat a large nonstick skillet with nonstick spray; warm over medium heat. Add the patties; cook, turning once, 6 minutes, or until lightly browned and crisp.
  3. Serving size: 2 crab cakes
