Plum compôte with cinnamon & orange
Lightly spiced poached fruit is served with yogurt and a drizzle of honey. You could also serve this as a dessert, as well as a breakfast.

Freshly squeezed orange juice
- Put the plums into a saucepan and add enough cold water to almost cover them. Add the cinnamon stick, orange zest and juice.
- Put over a medium heat and bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes until the plums are soft.
- Serve the plums warm, with a spoonful of the Greek yogurt, and the honey drizzled over.
Make sure you use ripe plums for this, so the poached fruit will have its own natural sweetness.
