Spiced poached pears with nutmeg custard

1 whole, split in half lengthways
reduced-fat vanilla custard
Poach pear in water with sugar, cinnamon quill and vanilla bean. Cook until tender. Warm custard with a pinch nutmeg. Serve with poached pear.
