Poached pears with chocolate sauce

Heat a small saucepan filled with water over medium-high heat. Add 1 fresh pear (peeled) and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until tender. Drain. Meanwhile, melt 20g dark chocolate chips in the microwave, heating in short bursts to avoid burning. Place pear upright on a serving plate and drizzle melted chocolate over the top.
