We made this delicious sweet-and-sour stir-fry in 20 minutes with convenience foods like instant rice, chopped frozen vegetables and canned fruits.


Ingredients
Peanut oil
2 tsp
Frozen stir-fry vegetables
1 pound(s)
Canned tropical fruit in passion fruit juice
15¼ oz, drained
Mineral water
½ fl oz
Soy sauce
2 Tbsp
Cornstarch
1 Tbsp
Honey
2 tsp
Instant long grain and wild rice mix
2 cup(s), cooked
Instructions

Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add frozen vegetables and stir-fry 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add tropical fruit and cook until vegetables are crisp-tender, about 1 minute.

In a small bowl, whisk together water, soy sauce, cornstarch and honey. Add mixture to wok and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens, about 1 minute. Serve vegetables and sauce over prepared rice. Yields about 1 rounded cup vegetables and 2/3 cups rice per serving.
