This strawberry chiller is an easy breakfast or afternoon snack to enjoy outside by the pool, on the deck, or even in front of the TV on a hot summer’s day. Featuring ice cubes and soda to keep chill, this drink is perfect to cool you down in the midst of heat. Furthermore this virgin drink is a great treat that the whole family will love. You can even change the fruit depending on what you have on hand. Mangoes, mixed berries, watermelon, and peaches would all be delicious, too! This chiller still tastes good days later, so make you sure you save any leftovers in the freezer.

Ingredients

Unsweetened frozen strawberries

16 oz, partially thawed

Diet ginger ale

12 oz

Sugar

Fresh lime juice

¼ cup(s)

Ice cube

2 cup(s), crushed

Instructions

  1. Combine first four ingredients in a blender. Process until smooth. Add ice; process until smooth. Serve immediately. Yield: 9 servings (serving size: about 3⁄4 cup).

Save leftover Strawberry Chiller in the freezer and pulse quickly in a blender before serving.
