Ingredients

Carrots

6 medium

Unsalted butter

2 tsp, softened

Sea salt

½ tsp, coarse variety

Black pepper

¼ tsp

Fresh parsley

1 Tbsp, chopped

Instructions

  1. Peel and trim carrots. Halve the carrots lengthwise and place in a steamer basket. Set basket in saucepan over 1 inch of boiling water. Cover pan and steam until just tender when poked with the tip of a knife, 8 to10 minutes. Transfer to plate; top with butter and toss until melted. Sprinkle with parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Serving size: 3 carrot halves
