The perfect side dish can make any meal shine and this one is ready in just 24 minutes! African-inspired, this side dish will elevate your meal to a whole new level. Lemon zest and just a hint of cinnamon give this sweet rice dish a bright, warm note. The earthy rice and sweet hits of raisins make this a perfect pairing with roasted chicken and pork or serve with a simply roasted piece of salmon. Make it a delicious vegan bowl with seared seitan or tofu and some wilted spinach. Use golden raisins in place of standard raisins for a jewel-like appearance, great for dinner parties. The warming comfort of these flavors will charm kids and adults and may become a favorite in your household.
