Refreshing and sweet, blend up this refreshing fruit shake in less than 10 minutes for an easy breakfast or a quick snack or dessert. And depending on the sweetness of your fruit or your taste preferences, you may be able to omit the sugar. Mint is a cooling pairing with the mango, and if you’d like that wonderful flavor infused throughout the drink, feel free to blend up the mint along with the other ingredients. You can substitute any fresh ripe fruit that you like for the mango. Strawberries, raspberries, and peaches would be delicious swaps. You can also use frozen fruit here, and there’s no need to thaw it beforehand. It will just make your shake even colder.

Ingredients

Plain fat free yogurt

1 cup(s)

Mineral water

1 fl oz, ice cold

Mango

1½ small, or 1 large mango, peeled, pitted and chopped

Sugar

1 Tbsp

Peppermint leaves

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients, except mint, in a blender; blend until smooth. Pour into 2 tall glasses. Top each with a mint leaf. Yields about 1 1/2 cups per serving.
