So simple and chocolaty, you’ll wish you’d added this treat to your repertoire a long time ago. This fudge slush is a chocolate-loving kid's dream treat to indulge in after school. And "big kids" love this stunningly simple frozen chocolate milk treat, too. Add a shake of cinnamon or a drop of vanilla or almond extract to the blend before freezing for a slight change of taste. And of course make a double batch. You'll have plenty of takers for this comforting, cold classic.

Ingredients

Fat free skim milk

2 cup(s)

Chocolate syrup

¼ cup(s)

Instructions

  1. Whisk milk and chocolate syrup together in a medium bowl. Pour into a shallow plastic container, cover and freeze for 20 minutes. Using a rubber spatula, scrape slush from sides of container. Freeze again for 20 minutes and then scrape sides again; repeat 1 or 2 more times until no liquid remains.
  2. Spoon into 2 tall glasses and serve. Yields about 1 1/4 cups per serving.
