Think of this recipe as your back-pocket go-to for do-it-all chicken breasts. It delivers super-easy, deliciously seasoned chicken that you can slice, chop, or shred for lettuce salads, chicken salads, quesadillas, sandwiches, pizzas, tacos, and more. The seasoning is simple but delicious—and not so specific that it limits the possibilities of the chicken. For more robust flavor, go with smoked paprika, or lean on regular paprika for something subtler. We prefer four-ounce breasts here; if yours are larger, trim them to size so they’ll cook evenly and quickly.

Cooking spray

4 spray(s)

Uncooked boneless skinless chicken breast

8 oz, (2 [4-oz] breasts)

Kosher salt

tsp

Garlic powder

¼ tsp

Paprika

Instructions

  1. Coat both sides of the chicken with cooking spray. Combine the salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper; sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.
