Frozen fruit does wonders for a smoothie! Replacing traditional ice with frozen berries deepens the flavor, adds natural sweetness, and thickens the mixture into an icy, shake-like consistency perfect for slurping through a straw. You can always stir in a little water if you’d like it to be a little less thick. We love the combination of chocolate and strawberries, but raspberries would make an excellent substitution. For an extra cold treat, chill a glass by putting it in the freezer for at least 20 minutes. You may want to wrap it in a napkin to keep your fingers from getting freezer burned.
