When you need a mindless munch, reach for this dolled-up popcorn. The combination of heat and sweet gives microwave popcorn new meaning. Since this recipe makes a bunch, it can double as a party nibble for a causal cocktail party too. Divide the popcorn among a variety of serving bowls and place them in gathering spots around your home so your guests can snack on it while they mingle. Here, we used Parmesan cheese, but you could use any other hard, pungent cheese instead such as manchego or pecorino Romano. If you grate the cheese yourself, be sure to finely grate it so that it will coat the popcorn kernels well.


Ingredients
Grated Parmesan cheese

94% fat free microwave kettle corn

Sugar

Chili powder
1 tsp
Cayenne pepper

Table salt

Instructions

Combine cheese, sugar, chili powder, pepper and salt in a small bowl; toss with popcorn. Yields about 1 1/2 cups per serving.
