The secret to these patties is a can of white beans; they contribute moisture, blend seamlessly with the ground chicken breast, and add bulk, fiber, and extra protein. If you don’t have an air fryer, you can broil the patties for 4 to 5 minutes on each side.

Ingredients

Cooking spray

4 spray(s)

Canned cannellini beans

15½ oz, rinsed and drained

98% fat-free uncooked ground chicken breast

1 pound(s)

Reduced fat cheddar cheese

cup(s), shredded

Ranch seasoning

3½ Tbsp, divided

Cooked turkey bacon

3 slice(s)

Plain fat free Greek yogurt

½ cup(s)

Scallions

2 medium, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, partially mash the beans with a potato masher so the beans still have some texture. Add the chicken, cheese, 3 tbsp ranch seasoning, and bacon; mix well. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each into a 1-inch-thick patty.
  2. Preheat an air fryer, if necessary, to 400°F. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Arrange the patties in the basket; coat the tops of the patties with cooking spray. Air-fry until the patties are browned and cooked through, 12 to 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together the yogurt, remaining 1 ½ tsp ranch seasoning, and scallions. Serve the sauce with the patties.
  4. Serving size: 1 patty and 2 tbsp sauce
