Tart, sweet, juicy, and creamy—this smoothie has it all. If serving to picky eaters, don’t worry about the spinach; you don’t taste it at all, but you still get to reap the nutrition benefits. We leave the peel on the apple for more fiber and richer flavor. A high-powered blender will pulverize the fruit easily and quickly. If you have a less-powerful blender, just keep blending until the smoothie is creamy and smooth (it might take longer than one minute).

Ingredients

Fresh baby spinach

Plain fat free Greek yogurt

1 cup(s)

Plain unsweetened almond milk

¾ cup(s)

Fresh apple(s)

1 small, such as Honeycrisp, cored and coarsely chopped

Banana(s)

1 small, frozen and sliced

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high until smooth, 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  2. Serving size: about 1⅔ cups
