What she does at WW
Nicole manages data collection and analysis for the Behaviour Change team’s key projects to help improve the member and Coach experience. She also gathers and organises new research to inform curriculum development and the broader WW programme. She sees her role as the perfect blend of scientific analysis and real-world impact - using data to help members build healthy habits and find success in their journeys.
Before joining the Science team, Nicole was a data and nutrition specialist on WW’s Food Database team. She was drawn to the field of nutrition through a long-standing interest in helping people lead healthier lives. After two years in her previous role, she transitioned to this team to deepen her work with behaviour change. Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from New York University.
What brought her to WW
After trying to find her niche in the health and wellness field - she held positions as a dietetic technician and an assistant to the CEO of a private nutrition practice - Nicole found herself taking a job at a lighting company to pay the bills. It was there that she gained data analysis skills and the desire to return to the health and wellness industry. Four years later, when she saw the opportunity to join WW as a food and nutrition data specialist, she knew it was the perfect role. It also helped that it was at WW, a leader in the field of helping people build healthier habits and change their lives!
Most exciting part of the job
For Nicole, it’s the process to develop new topics and techniques that help bring WW members to Workshops. She loves combining creativity, science, and member feedback to craft the perfect set of materials - and constantly striving to improve. She says it’s even more exciting to see the data when members give feedback about how much they enjoyed the topic and how it impacted their journey.
